Maintenance Manager (Interim)£450 - £500.00 daily rate plus expenses (Outside IR35)4 on 4 off DAYSLocation: Commutable from Wembley, LondonThe ProfileWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Engineering Department on an interim basis.The successful candidate will have:This is a hands on engineering role·A recognised engineering apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification·Proven experience within food manufacturing or a process-driven production environment·Strong knowledge of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) systems and implementation·Experience managing quality standards and reducing waste·A proactive, hands-on leadership style with a focus on continuous improvement·Strong organisational and problem-solving skillsThe RoleReporting to the Head of Engineering, the Interim Maintenance Manager will be responsible for:·Providing strong leadership and man-management to a small team (up to 6 direct reports and 10 indirect, including contractors)·Managing on-site projects and contractor activity·Distributing workload effectively across the team·First and second-line management responsibilities·Conducting staff appraisals and performance management·Delivering and reporting on KPIs including Planned Maintenance, Health & Safety, and Quality·Providing technical leadership and promoting a proactive maintenance culture to prevent equipment failureThe CompanyYou will be joining a leading FMCG manufacturer with an established and loyal client base.
