We are seeking an experienced Interim Group Accountant to join a reputable organisation based in Oxford. This temporary role is well‑suited for professionals with strong group accounting and finance expertise.

Description

  • Prepare and consolidate financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Support the month‑end and year‑end closing processes efficiently and accurately.
  • Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the group.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
  • Provide support in financial reporting and management accounts preparation.
  • Work closely with various departments to ensure accurate financial information.

Profile

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
  • Previous experience in group accounting or financial consolidation.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.
