Interim FP&A Analyst 3-Month Contract

Our client is seeking a recently qualified accountant with proven analytical skills and commercial thinking. As interim FP&A Accountant we need someone who can slot in quickly, pick things up fast, and provide extra capacity on core FP&A work. Youll help with forecasting, reporting, and improving processes and have strong modelling skills and clear communication are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Analysis

  • Produce and improve KPI reporting.
  • Prepare clear variance analysis with simple explanations of whats driving results.

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Support rolling forecasting.
  • Build and maintain financial models for new business opportunities.
  • Check and challenge inputs from operational teams.

Process & Improvement Work

  • Help streamline reporting and planning processes.
  • Spot issues, tidy things up, and suggest better ways of working.

What We Need

  • Solid FP&A experience.
  • Advanced Excel and modelling ability including power query and power pivot.
  • Able to get up to speed quickly and work independently.
  • Straightforward communicator who can explain numbers clearly.
