Reporting to Finance Director with 2 direct reports Fixed term contract until December 2026 Hybrid model – 1 to 2 days a week in London office Industry - Media Key Responsibilities

Lead the monthly financial close with full ownership of the P&L, including WIP calculations, accruals, and comprehensive balance sheet review. Contribute to board reporting, providing clear financial bridges and insight against budget and prior year performance. Partner closely with Client Services, chairing monthly WIP meetings to assess project status, revenue forecasts, and commercial risks. Support the Finance Manager and AP Assistant across billing, supplier payments, and operational finance queries to ensure smooth day‑to‑day delivery. Maintain and refine the short‑term cash flow forecast and provide support on credit control activities when required. Assist with the ongoing audit process, ensuring timely delivery of schedules and responses, with completion targeted for June/July. Produce monthly utilisation and client profitability reporting, leveraging data from the Float resource management tool to support commercial decision‑making. Play an active role in the annual business planning cycle, contributing financial insight and challenge to support strategic growth. Provide oversight of tax and payroll compliance, including VAT, Corporation Tax, and Payroll processes, which are managed centrally by Aquest Group. Proven experience in a Finance Role with responsibility for month end financial close, delivery of controllership activities and business reporting Confident and able to quickly establish solid working relationship with wide variety of stakeholders Strong technical knowledge and experience in using finance software and systems ideally IRIS Financials Strong communication skills both written and verbal An analytical, influencing and managerial skillset Action-oriented: ability to turn goals into executable tasks effectively and do what is needed to deliver results Enthusiastic, self‑motivated with high levels of energy and drive
