Interim Finance Manager

Central London (Hybrid, 2–3 days in office)

£55,000 – £65,000 Depending on experience

We are working with a high-growth, investor-backed healthcare business operating across multiple sites in the UK. Following recent investment, the business is entering a scaling phase, with strong revenue growth and an active M&A strategy underway.

This is a newly created role within a lean finance team, offering broad exposure across financial control, reporting, and process improvement, with the opportunity to play a key role in supporting the next stage of growth.

The Role

You will work closely with senior finance leadership, taking ownership of core finance processes while also contributing to improving systems, reporting, and overall finance capability.

Responsibilities include:

• Ownership of monthly management accounts and close process
• Supporting financial control and ensuring accuracy across the ledger
• Assisting with audit preparation and year-end reporting
• Driving process improvements across finance operations
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Working closely with non-finance stakeholders across the business
• Contributing to ad hoc projects, including growth and integration activity

The Candidate

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on qualified accountant who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key requirements:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
• 1-2 years’ post-qualified experience
• Strong grounding in financial control and management reporting
• Experience within a fast-paced or growing business environment
• Confident communicator, able to work with non-finance stakeholders
• Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and drive improvements

Desirable (but not essential)

• Experience in a multi-site or acquisitive business
• Exposure to FP&A, forecasting, or commercial analysis
• Experience with modern finance systems or data tools
