Your new role

You will take ownership of financial reporting and commercial analysis across several entities. You'll be responsible for end‑to‑end management accounting, revenue recognition, and providing clear financial insight to senior leadership teams role includes line management responsibility for a junior finance team member, with scope to further strengthen the team as the business evolves. You'll work closely with operational and client‑facing stakeholders to challenge assumptions, improve processes and enhance financial control.
Key responsibilities include:

• Full P&L ownership across multiple international entities
• Production and review of monthly management accounts, balance sheets and cashflow forecasts
• Revenue recognition involving phased and milestone‑based delivery
• Variance analysis, insight generation and process improvement recommendations
• Cashflow forecasting and working capital oversight
• Payroll preparation and review, supported by external providers where required
• Oversight of accounts payable, payment approvals and month‑end journals
• Presenting financial performance and analysis to senior leadership
• Line management, mentoring and development of junior finance staff

What you'll need to succeed

• A relevant accounting qualification or equivalent experience
• Strong management accounting background with full P&L ownership
• Proven revenue recognition experience in a project‑based or services environment
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing non‑finance teams
• Experience working across multiple entities or regions
• Hands‑on, detail‑focused approach with the ability to balance delivery and improvement
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to challenge constructively
