Job Title: Interim Director of Finance OperationsLocation: Central London (Hybrid)Day Rate: Competitive (Inside IR35)OverviewWe are partnering with a high-growth, international, private equity-backed business operating across multiple European markets. The organisation is undergoing a period of transformation and requires an experienced interim to bring structure, control and scalability to its finance operations.This is a senior, hands-on role with responsibility for stabilising and optimising end-to-end finance operations across a multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction environment. The focus will be on delivering immediate impact, improving processes and supporting ongoing transformation initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of the end-to-end finance operations function, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, billing and collections across multiple regionsAssess current processes, identify gaps and implement improvements to drive efficiency, control and scalabilityStabilise and enhance invoicing and collections processes, with a clear focus on cash generation and working capital optimisationOversee customer onboarding and billing processes, ensuring consistency and accuracy across entitiesEnsure robust controls across supplier payments, expenses and master data managementAct as a senior escalation point for operational issues across finance and the wider businessLead and support finance transformation initiatives, particularly around ERP and billing systemsPartner closely with senior finance leadership (Accounting, FP&A, Treasury) to ensure alignment across the functionManage third-party providers and ensure service levels are metCandidate ProfileQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Proven track record in interim roles within finance operations, ideally in PE-backed or high-growth environmentsStrong experience across AP, AR, billing and collections in complex, multi-entity organisationsDemonstrated ability to quickly assess, stabilise and improve finance processesExperience operating in international environments with multiple jurisdictionsBackground in technology, software, fintech or similarly complex sectors preferredStrong systems exposure, ideally including ERP optimisation (NetSuite or similar)Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with ambiguityKey AttributesHands-on and delivery-focused, with the ability to drive change at paceStrong stakeholder management, able to influence at senior levelStructured and pragmatic approach to problem solvingHigh levels of ownership and accountabilityAble to balance immediate operational needs with longer-term improvements #J-18808-Ljbffr
