You'll step into a service that requires a steady hand, clear decision-making, and a proactive approach to quality and safety. You'll be the senior clinical point of contact, ensuring the service continues to deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care while supporting teams through change.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal governance frameworks

  • Oversee clinical risk management, safeguarding, and incident review processes

  • Support workforce planning, supervision, and staff development

  • Drive service improvements and maintain high-quality care delivery

  • Act as a key liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including commissioners and partner agencies

  • Stabilise operational processes and prepare the service for long-term leadership handover

About You

You'll thrive in this role if you bring:

  • A strong clinical background (NMC registration with active pin)

  • Proven leadership experience within complex or high-acuity services

  • Confidence managing change, competing priorities, and operational pressures

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership style

  • A pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact quickly. You'll be joining a committed team who need a leader capable of bringing structure, reassurance, and direction during a critical period.
