Pennon is seeking an Insurance Officer to support our Group Insurance Manager in the smooth handling of claims across the business. From liaising with insurers and brokers to maintaining key relationships and ensuring that claims processes run seamlessly, this is a chance to be part of a dynamic team that drives operational success and customer satisfaction. This is a permanent, full-time position located in Bristol, Redhill, or Exeter. Key Responsibilities:Provide insurance and claims services across all group companiesManage and update the Origami claims database efficiently and accuratelyHandle third-party claims, including property damage and liability claimsLiaise with insurers, loss adjusters, and brokers for effective claims managementCoordinate monthly claim financial reports and ensure payments are accurately reconciledSupport the Group Insurance Manager in managing claims, gathering evidence, and preparing documentationMaintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholdersWhat You'll Need:Experience in insurance, claims handling, or related administrative rolesKnowledge of the fundamentals of insurance and claims management (Indemnity, Insurance Act 2015)Strong organisational and communication skills, with an eye for detailCII certification or willingness to work toward it (desirable)Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insurance systemsA customer-centric approach with the ability to solve problems and communicate effectivelyWhat Drives You:A passion for helping others reach equitable solutions to customer claims, within insurance limitsMotivation to explain complex insurance terms in a clear and accessible way to internal teams and stakeholdersAt Pennon, we believe in rewarding our people for their hard work and dedication.
