A leading international law firm, with a top-tier reputation in the UK insurance and reinsurance market, is looking for an Insurance Associate/Senior Associate to join its expanding London office.

About the Role

Due to sustained growth, the firm’s market-leading Insurance & Reinsurance team is looking to add a talented lawyer who can help support an enviable portfolio of insurer and broker clients. The team advises on a broad spectrum of contentious and coverage matters, including:

• Professional indemnity disputes (including claims involving finance professionals, solicitors, insurance brokers, and construction specialists)
• Financial lines, W&I, and cyber-risk matters
• Aviation-related disputes
• Complex policy coverage issues across multiple classes of business

You’ll work closely with key clients while being encouraged to develop your own network and industry presence. The team is known for its collaborative culture, high-quality work, and commercially focused approach.

About You

To be considered, you should bring:

• 3+ years’ PQE gained at a City, international, insurance-focused, or major regional firm
• Strong experience advising insurers or major insurance market participants
• Excellent drafting ability and a pragmatic, commercially minded approach
• Strong judgement, client-facing confidence, and effective project management skills
• Experience in professional indemnity, financial lines, cyber, transactional liability, or aviation, though strong coverage experience in other classes will also be considered
