Mechanical Installations Manager\n\nLocation\nUK Wide Field Based\n\nEmployment Type\nFull Time | Permanent\n\nSalary\nUp to £60,000 depending on experience\n\nOverview\nWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Installations Manager to oversee mechanical installation works across commercial solar PV projects throughout the UK.\n\nThis role involves managing Mechanical Leads and installation teams responsible for mounting systems and panel installation on commercial and public sector projects. The successful candidate will ensure installation works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project timelines.\n\nThe position involves Monday to Friday site work with regular staying away depending on project location. A staying away allowance will be provided.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n• Manage mechanical installation works across commercial solar PV projects\n• Supervise Mechanical Leads and their installation teams on site\n• Coordinate installation of mounting systems, panel structures and associated mechanical works\n• Ensure installations are completed safely and in line with project specifications\n• Monitor installation progress and maintain programme timelines\n• Work closely with electrical teams, project managers and subcontractors\n• Ensure all works comply with site health and safety procedures\n• Support planning and coordination of labour and installation resources\n\nEssential Requirements\n\n• Proven experience managing mechanical installation teams\n• Experience delivering commercial solar PV or large scale construction installations\n• CSCS card required\n• Strong leadership and site coordination experience\n• Full UK driving licence\n\nDesirable Qualifications\n\n• Working at Height certification\n• Solar PV installation experience\n• SSSTS or SMSTS\n• Experience managing installation teams on commercial or public sector projects\n\nWorking Pattern and Benefits\n\n• Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience\n• Company van provided\n• Monday to Friday site based work\n• Staying away required depending on project location\n• Staying away allowance provided\n• Opportunity to lead mechanical installations on large scale commercial solar projects
