This position involves significant national travel, so its ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road and working on large-scale automation installations at customer sites. The roleInstall, assemble, and wire warehouse automation systems on-siteCommission systems and carry out functional and safety testingTroubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issuesWork closely with engineers, project managers, and site teamsEnsure compliance with all health, safety, and quality standardsComplete installation reports, QA records, and documentationProvide on-site updates and basic operator training to customers Travel requirementFrequent travelRegular National travelOccasional short-notice or urgent site visitsFlexible working hours during peak installation phases What were looking forExperience in industrial automation, installation, or commissioningMechanical and/or electrical backgroundConfident fault-finding and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and customer-facing abilityComfortable working at height (MEWPs / forklifts)Happy with extensive travel and working away from homeJBRP1_UKTJ
