Installation & Commissioning Engineer - Special Purpose Machinery\n\nLeicester\n\n£55,000 - £65,000 + Overtime + Bonus + Pension + 25 Days Holiday\n\nAre you an Installation & Commissioning Engineer looking for a role where you can work on complex, high-tech machinery installations both in the UK and internationally?\n\nDo you want the opportunity to take projects from final build through to commissioning and customer handover while developing your technical expertise?\n\nThe company is a growing special purpose machinery manufacturer delivering advanced automated systems to a range of industries. Due to continued growth and project demand, they are looking for a Commissioning and Installation Engineer to join their expanding engineering team.\n\nIn this role you will be responsible for installing and commissioning bespoke machinery both at the company's Leicester facility and on customer sites. You will work closely with the design, build, and controls teams to ensure systems are installed, tested, and fully operational before final handover to the customer.\n\nThis is a varied position where you will be involved in mechanical installation, machine setup, troubleshooting and final commissioning of complex automated equipment.
You will also support customer acceptance testing and provide technical input to improve machinery performance and reliability.\n\nThe Role\n\n*Pre-commissioning and testing equipment\n\n*Installation and commissioning on customer sites worldwide\n\n*Electrical, mechanical and PLC systems and diagnostics\n\n*Development of new bespoke machinery\n\nThe Person\n\n*Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems\n\n*Background with manufacturing machinery\n\n*Experience with PLC-based software systems\n\n*Experience with on site installations and commissioning\n\nAll in all, this is a fantastic opportunity to work on technically challenging machinery projects while gaining valuable commissioning and installation experience within a growing engineering business.\n\nIf you do not hear from us within 10 days, then unfortunately your application has not been successful on this occasion.
