Our client is a global leading manufacturer who are looking for a Injection Moulding Setter to join a well-established team to responsible for installing moulds in to the injection moulding machine as well as setting up all related ancillary equipment and materials.

The Job

* Responsible for installing moulds into the injection moulding machine as well as setting up all related ancillary equipment and materials.

* Start up, make necessary process adjustments, and troubleshoot production runs while ensuring that the moulding machine are running within specified parameters

* Performing quality checks on parts that are being produced and documenting the findings.

* Cycle time adherence and reporting exceptions.

* You are responsible for the OEE figure in your area.

* Produce quality products in line with our customer expectations.

* Machine safety checks and checks of equipment before use.

* Machine housekeeping internal/external.

* Process monitoring and control and inspection of ancillary equipment.

* Ensuring that raw material waste is kept to a minimum.

* Completion of all production documentation.

* Complete written and verbal handovers and the end/start of shift.

* Quick and effective communication with other departments concerning tool, machine and material issues.

* Execution of Tool/Material changes in your area.

About you

* A Minimum of 2 years tool loading experience

* Qualified at Injection Moulding Technology Level 3 processing standard, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience

* Qualified at IMT Level 4 (Desirable)

* Crane qualified (Desirable)

* FLT qualified (Desirable)

* Experience of using PA66, Acetal, PP, Metal content, PA46, VOPrevious experience at a technician level

* Experience of Arburg, BMB and Sumitomo machines (Desirable)

* Ability to work to your own initiative and prioritise workload

* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
