TQR are working exclusively with a global Manufacturer based at their Plymouth site to recruit three experienced Injection Mould Setters on a permanent basis due to a vast increase in production levels. The successful candidates will be responsible for setting, adjusting, and maintaining injection moulding machines to ensure efficient production of high-quality plastic components. This role involves tool changes, process optimisation, troubleshooting, and maintaining safety and quality standards. These are permanent opportunities to join a global manufacturer at a time of substantial growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate injection moulding machines according to production schedules.
* Perform mould/tool changes safely and efficiently.
* Ensure products meet quality specifications, using measuring equipment where applicable.
* Troubleshoot process and equipment issues to minimise downtime.
* Monitor production output and make necessary adjustments.
* Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Work closely with quality and production teams to resolve defects.
* Record production data and maintain accurate documentation.
