In-House Recruiter (FTC – Maternity Cover) York Hybrid Full-Time £28,000 -£30,000
I'm working exclusively with a well-established retail business in York to recruit an In-House Retail Recruiter on a maternity cover FTC. This is a fantastic opportunity for either a recruiter or someone with strong retail experience looking to move into a people-focused recruitment role.
You'll be responsible for end-to-end recruitment across UK retail stores, hiring for roles from Customer Advisors through to Store Managers, while working closely with store teams and stakeholders. You will be part of a supportive, down to earth team that offers a great culture.
Key responsibilities include:
• Engaging with candidates to assess suitability and cultural fit • Writing and tailoring engaging job adverts • Supporting store managers with end-to-end recruitment needs • Conducting telephone and MS Teams interviews • Managing candidate communication and feedback throughout the process • Preparing new starter paperwork and completing right to work checks • Building strong relationships with store teams and key stakeholders • Supporting recruitment for new store openings
