LCP is an award-winning actuarial and analytics consultancy providing market-leading capabilities and advice across pensions and financial services, energy, health, and analytics. We use powerful analytics fused with human expertise to shape a more positive future.

What's the role?

The Recruitment team plays a key role in our collaborative, supportive, and highly valued HR department.

This is a fast-paced and varied in-house recruitment role, with an operational delivery focus, where you will work across both our core and diversified business lines (e.g. Pensions Actuarial, Investment Consulting, Digital Services, Business Development, Finance and others)

Working with Team Leaders, Managers and Partners, you will support and advise them throughout the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a robust yet agile process that successfully attracts and delivers high calibre talent. You'll also actively contribute to onboarding activities, working with the wider HR team to deliver a smooth transition from offer acceptance to day one, while following clearly defined processes.

As part of the recruitment team you will proactively contribute to recruitment focused projects, supporting the Senior In-House recruiter with innovating new people attraction ideas, and embracing new technologies which will help evolve our recruitment practices and processes.

Hybrid working is available for this position on a basis of 2-3 days per week in our office in Winchester (with travel to other sites as required)

Let's be upfront

This role isn’t focused on direct sourcing or reducing agency spend — at least not in the short to medium term. We absolutely hire directly where we can, but we’re a small team of three supporting a fast-growing organisation of over 1,200 people. With that scale and pace, we rely on a small number of trusted, often specialist, agency partners to help us find the right talent.

If your main driver is building pipelines and cutting agency use, this probably isn’t the right fit — and that’s OK. But if you’re motivated by broader in-house challenges and are keen to work alongside a great HR team then we think you'll enjoy it here.

What will you be doing?

Your key responsibilities will focus on the specific areas detailed below.

LCP operates a Preferred Supplier List (PSL) for recruitment agencies which is reviewed annually. We do not accept unsolicited CVs from agencies who are not part of our currentPSL. If this process is not adhered to, LCP reserve the right to contact these candidates directly and have discussions with them without paying any agency fees.
