Job Description
Excellent opportunity to secure a rolling contract with a Local Authority in London that only requires 1 day per week in the offices (this is negotiable).
As a Infrastructure Principal Planner within the Spatial Planning and Infrastructure Team, you will work towards ensuring the right infrastructure is secured and delivered to support growth, in line with the projects identified in the Council's Infrastructure Delivery Plan (IDP).
Duties will include:
* Managing the programming and delivery of projects and programmes listed in the Infrastructure Delivery Plan (IDP). * Contributing to the delivery of circa £300m of infrastructure project/programme commitments. * Supporting the systems which store all the financial and project data in relation to the £300m project/programme commitments; this includes the input of data and data analysis. * Working on the review of the Infrastructure Delivery Plan (IDP) and Charging Schedule processes. This includes the relevant statutory consultation process and obligations and document preparation. * Facilitating and service the governance (decision-making) processes for infrastructure planning and delivery; including managing meetings and relevant documentation.
In order to be considered for this role you must have a degree level or post graduate level formal qualification in a relevant subject, including Town planning, Regeneration, surveying (or another relevant property-based subject) Business Management, or Financial/Accounting.
It is essential that you have significant experience of leading on CIL and Section 106 work for a Local Authority. Our client is looking for an established Infrastructure Planner who can work independently, think proactively and is comfortable taking a lead role.
The rate offered is £323/day Umbrella, and this role is inside IR35.
