Information Security Manager

Hybrid/Remote Working

FinTech/Healthtech or SaaS/B2B Experience Preferred

Areti is exclusively partnered with a high-growth, well-funded fintech delivering cutting-edge financial solutions through its innovative SaaS platform. After a period of rapid scale, the business is now maturing its internal security capability and is hiring an Information Security Manager to support its next stage of growth.

This is a remote-first position, ideally suited to someone looking to take ownership of key InfoSec functions while working closely with technical and commercial teams.

The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to contribute to and implement modern security practices across a cloud-native product environment. You’ll work with engineering, DevOps, compliance, and customer-facing teams to ensure security is both technically robust and commercially enabling.

You’ll help shape the security roadmap, own critical processes, and support external assurance efforts, without the pressure of strategic board-level responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Security Operations & Engineering

• Maintain and evolve security tooling (e.g. endpoint protection, SIEM, SAST/DAST)
• Support secure CI/CD pipelines, container security, and secrets management
• Monitor and respond to vulnerabilities, incidents, and risks across cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Conduct threat modelling and coordinate remediation efforts with engineering teams

Compliance & Risk Management

• Support the maintenance of ISO 27001, SOC 2, and Cyber Essentials Plus controls
• Maintain the ISMS, manage security documentation, and assist in audits
• Collaborate with the DPO and Compliance team on DPIAs, vendor risk, and data protection processes

Security Awareness & Support

• Run periodic security training and awareness sessions for staff
• Respond to security-related queries from internal stakeholders
• Assist with InfoSec input for client due diligence, RFPs, and assurance questionnaires

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in an information security role within a SaaS, fintech, or regulated tech environment
• Strong understanding of cloud-native security, ideally with AWS
• Familiarity with tools such as GitHub Actions, Terraform, Snyk, CrowdStrike, or similar
• Practical experience with ISO 27001, SOC 2, or comparable frameworks
• Confident communicator with a collaborative and pragmatic approach
• Comfortable working cross-functionally across engineering, compliance, and commercial teams

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting DevSecOps or secure software development processes
• Background in responding to customer security assessments and audits
• Exposure to security risk registers or ISMS platforms
