Job Description

Role Overview
The Lead, ICT – EMEA is responsible for the design, integration, and commissioning of ICT and data network systems across CloudHQ developments in Europe. This position ensures all Industrial Control Networks (ICN) and Operational Technology (OT) systems are delivered to CloudHQ’s technical standards and perform reliably within mission critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
ICT Network Design & Delivery
Lead design and coordination of ICN/OT network systems to ensure timely and compliant infrastructure integration. Manage structured cabling design, installation, and testing for data centers. Oversee LAN, WAN, and wireless network configurations aligned with CloudHQ’s technical architecture.
Project Management & Compliance
Conduct site inspections to verify adherence to ICT construction and commissioning standards. Review and validate Project Initiation Documents (PIDs) and other deliverables for technical accuracy. Ensure designs meet data center compliance requirements and quality standards.
System Implementation
Oversee installation and commissioning of: Structured cabling systems (fiber and copper) LAN/Wireless networks and backbone infrastructure ICT room and distribution layouts Integration between corporate IT and facility control networks Manage testing, validation, and handover of completed ICT systems. Support tendering and bid activities to ensure alignment with CloudHQ vendors and technologies.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and contractors to ensure ICT objectives are met. Manage relationships with vendors and Technology Partners (ATPs). Serve as the technical authority for ICT queries across EMEA projects.
Technical Leadership
Promote innovation by assessing emerging technologies and their adoption within CloudHQ network environments. Conduct internal and external workshops to improve technical expertise and commissioning best practices. Uphold high customer service standards and ensure end user functionality aligns with business goals.
Requirements
10+years’ experience delivering ICT and network infrastructure within mission critical or data center environments. Deep technical knowledge of: Structured cabling systems and certification LAN/WAN/WiFi networks ICT commissioning and performance testing OT and ICN network integration Proven ability to manage complex technical projects and multivendor deployments. Expertise in document validation, compliance, and technical reviews. Excellent stakeholder communication and collaborative skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field. Certifications: PMP, CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, LEED AP, or equivalent are advantageous. Prior experience with hyperscale cloud or major data center providers.
