We are currently hiring on behalf of a well-established client specialising in high-quality, bespoke upholstered furniture. As demand continues to grow, they are looking to expand their team with an experienced Sewing Machinist who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and quality work. The Role: As a Sewing Machinist, you will be responsible for stitching various fabric and upholstery components to a high standard, working from technical drawings and patterns. Youll play a key role in producing high-end furniture pieces that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. Key Responsibilities: Operate industrial sewing machines (single and twin needle) Sew a variety of fabrics, including leather and heavy upholstery materials Work accurately from patterns, templates, and technical drawings Ensure consistent quality and finish across all products Support other production tasks where needed in the workshop What Were Looking For: Previous experience as a sewing machinist, ideally in furniture or upholstery manufacturing Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines Familiarity with heavy fabrics and leathe...
