Industrial Sewing Machinist Required to work for manufacturing company Milton Keynes

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ø To produce high quality products that meet specifications, both as a part of a team and independently.

Ø To achieve all individual performance standards as agreed.

Ø To produce sets of mats aligned with Company KPI's.

Ø Follow works instructions to ensure accuracy on specifications.

Ø Quality inspect sewn products.

Ø Minimise and control all waste.

Ø Carry out daily pre-use machines checks and maintenance.

TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ø Assist in development and promote the culture of continuous improvement, thereby recommending and implementing authorised changes.

Ø Comply with Health & Safety regulations at all times.

Ø Maintain good housekeeping of the department including the equipment within it.

Ø Ensure high standards of conduct, appearance and behaviour are met at all times.

Ø Communicate effectively with all team members, colleagues and management team.

Ø Participate in the company stock takes when necessary.

In addition to the above duties and responsibilities, the job holder is required to perform any other duty requested by Management from time to time.
