Exeter – £50,000 – £70,000 including Overtime, On-call, Vehicle & Benefits\n\nWe are working with a well-established engineering business specialising in pumping solutions in the Water industry, seeking an Industrial Electrician to join their mobile engineering team supporting operations.\n\nThe role can be based out of either Plymouth or Weymouth, covering Exeter and the surrounding counties.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrician from an industrial or commercial background to join a stable mobile engineering team responsible for maintaining, installing, servicing, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment across branches and customer sites.\n\nKey Duties & Responsibilities\n\nInstall, service, and repair electrical and mechanical pump sets, both in-house and on customer sites\n\nCarry out electrical installations in accordance with I.E.E. Wiring Regulations and industry standards\n\nPrepare job reports, repair estimates, and advise on safety issues where required\n\nMaintain and complete Risk Assessments and Method Statements for all work undertaken\n\nEnsure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures and site-specific safety rules\n\nCarry out wiring and testing in line with C&G 2382 (18th Edition) Wiring Regulations\n\nInterpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure correct installation and maintenance practices\n\nMaintain tidy vehicles, tools, and workspaces and represent the company professionally on customer sites\n\nParticipate in an on-call rota (1 in 6 weeks) and respond to urgent breakdowns when required\n\nSkills & Experience Required\n\nECS Gold Card – Installation Electrician\n\nAM2 (Achievement Measurement 2) or equivalent\n\nNVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations\n\n18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382)\n\nDemonstrable experience working as an Electrician in an industrial or commercial environment\n\nKnowledge of electrical and mechanical repair, ideally within pumps, utilities, or construction sectors\n\nFull UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)\n\nStrong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and customer satisfaction\n\nSummary\n\nPosition: Industrial Electrician\n\nLocation: Exeter and surrounding counties\n\nDuration: Permanent\n\nSalary: £50,000 – £70,000 including Overtime, On-call, Vehicle & Benefits\n\nStart: Notice dependent\n\nIf you’re a skilled Industrial Electrician seeking a varied and rewarding mobile role with a respected engineering group offering long-term stability and career progression, we’d like to hear from you.\n\nApply now or contact the Kiota team for more details
