Snowdon Recruitment are working with one of the largest Electrical companies in the UK who are looking to support their continued growth by bringing on board an Industrial Electrician in Portsmouth.\n\nThis is a company who aim to provide their employees with lifelong careers.\n\nDuties of the Industrial Electrician\n\n * \n\n Testing and Inspections\n\n * \n\n Use all the tools and systems we’ve got to make sure the data you enter is accurate and up to date.\n\n * \n\n Be a strong part of both the local and team, while still owning your own tasks and staying responsible for all your assigned inspection and technical work.\n\n * \n\n Make sure inspections and testing are done on time and follow the planned schedule.\n\n * \n\n Write up and send out inspection reports clearly and professionally—ideally within the same day.\n\n * \n\n Follow all the company’s health and safety procedures while you work.\n\n * \n\n Carry out portable appliance (PAT) testing at customer sites safely and according to industry standards and health & safety laws.\n\n * \n\n Perform inspections within your approved scope and make sure everything is recorded properly, following company guidelines.\n\n * \n\n Offer technical and legal advice when needed—whether it’s to clients, teammates, or other contacts.\n\n * \n\n Build solid relationships with clients and keep customer service top-notch at all times.\n\n * \n\n Stay in close contact with the Regional Planner to keep the daily plan on track—if anything changes, let them know right away.\n\n * \n\n Keep up with any updates to standards and laws around electrical installations, and be ready to adapt as needed.\n\nBenefits of the Industrial Electrician Job\n\n * £41,700-£44,300 basic salary DOE\n\n * Company Vehicle or Car Allowance of £5,000\n\n * 33 days holiday\n\n * Fuel Card\n\n * Private Healthcare Benefits\n\n * Enhanced Pension\n\nRequirements for the Industrial Electrician Job\n\n * NVQ/SVQ Level 3\n\n * 2391 Testing Qualification or equivalent\n\n * 18th Edition\n\n * COMPEX ()\n\n * ATEX ()\n\n * Previous experience in industrial environments\n\nShould this Industrial Electrician job be of interest to you, we invite you to apply using the link and a member of our team will be in touch to discuss further
