The

East Suffolk

Members of our Audit and Governance Committee, which meets at least
four times per year, usually on a Monday evening at 6.30pm at our

processes that support the broad and complex range of council
services, especially the financial / risk management of those
services.
What you will
need
To be eligible, you
must live or work in the East Suffolk District and you must not be
politically active or have any relationship with East Suffolk
Councillors. Ideally, you will be an impartial, independent-minded
person who also has experience in Audit, Finance or Risk
Management. The role description and person specification can be
found here. Training will be provided.
An
allowance of 1.75% of the Councillor’s Basic Allowance will be paid
to the appointed persons, which equates to £164.13 per meeting
