Coba Education is working in partnership with a progressive secondary school in Northampton to recruit talented and driven Inclusion Support Practitioners (ISPs) to join their secondary phase team.

Curriculum Inclusion Support Practitioner
We are particularly keen to hear from ISPs who would like to work within the school’s core curriculum areas, supporting teaching and learning as part of the subject teams:
Maths English Science As a Curriculum ISP, you will work alongside subject specialists to support lesson delivery, lead small‑group interventions, and help ensure pupils make accelerated progress. You will play an active role in supporting students to build confidence, develop key skills, and achieve success throughout their secondary education and beyond.
SEND Inclusion Support Practitioner
For those with a strong interest in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), there are also opportunities to work within the school’s SEND team, supporting identified learners including those with EHCPs.
In this role, you will:
Support pupils in and out of the classroom, working in small groups or on a one‑to‑one basis Deliver targeted intervention pathways to improve access to the curriculum Work closely with the SENDCo to support pupils’ individual needs Help learners develop the skills needed to achieve positive outcomes and prepare for adulthood
Key Responsibilities (Across Both Pathways)
Support students’ learning, progress, and emotional wellbeing across Key Stages 3 and 4 Plan and deliver interventions informed by pupil need and evidence‑based practice Support lesson delivery and provide classroom cover where required Track and monitor progress using tools such as Edukey, IEPs, and Pupil Passports Carry out or contribute to assessments including Lucid, dyslexia, and dyscalculia screening Build positive relationships with students to promote engagement, confidence, and resilience Supervise pupils during breaks, lunchtimes, and intervention periods Promote positive behaviour and inclusion in line with school policies Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff, and SEND professionals Engage in ongoing professional development to strengthen practice

Are motivated, adaptable, and committed to helping young people succeed Enjoy working as part of a team to enhance curriculum delivery Have experience supporting young people, ideally in a secondary or SEND setting Are confident supporting learning across different subjects or specialist areas Demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong communication skills Have a genuine passion for inclusion and raising aspirations
