We at Work Lyf group are recruiting for an Import/Export Coordinator for our client based in the St Neots area of Cambridgeshire. In this role you will be managing the day-today international logistics and trade compliance activities for our clients European entities.

You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient movement of goods across international borders while adhering to UK and international trade laws and regulations.

Hybrid or fixed office role, Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00 (days office-based Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate and manage the import and export of goods, ensuring compliance with HMRC and international trade regulations.

* Prepare and review freight quotations and shipping documents such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.

* Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation providers to schedule shipments and resolve logistical issues.

* Maintain accurate records of all import/export activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external audits.

* Monitor shipment progress and proactively address delays or discrepancies.

* Track and report on import/export costs and suggest process improvements to reduce delays or expenses.

* Ensure the correct use of commodity codes, custom procedure codes, INCOTERMS, and country-oforigin documentation.
