Import Customs Manager £47,000 DOE Near Slough A well-established small company near Slough is looking for an experienced Import Customs Manager to oversee all aspects of our import operations. This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm (37.5 hours per week). The Import Customs Manager will ensure accurate and timely processing of customs entries, full compliance with HMRC procedures, and effective management of a small import team. The ideal Import Customs Manager will have proven courier import experience, strong leadership skills, and in-depth knowledge of customs systems. Essential Requirements: Proven management and leadership experience in imports/customs. Strong knowledge of HMRC compliance, CDS, CNS, ETSF, and BIRDS. Proficient in Descartes (e-customs), ASM (Sequoia), and Boxtop. Previous courier import experience, including low-value bulk clearance. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities. Key Responsibilities: Lead, develop, and motivate the import & customs team to achieve service and quality goals.
