Accounting for the nation s interests Solve financial problems and offer vital support to our global organisation As an enthusiastic and thoughtful problem solver, you ll have the skills to help ensure compliance with accounting standards and government regulations, and be ready to work on a large number of complex and varied projects. You ll also be involved with efficiency challenges, detailed project deep dive analysis, and the quarterly financial forecasting cycle. But your work won t stop here you ll also support the development of Opex and Capex proposals, lead on financial tracking to ensure benefits are realised, and coordinate the development of our corporate business plans. Use your accountancy skills with a business that helps to keep the country secure As a Management Accountant with experience of operating in a project accounting environment, you ll possess customer and supplier relationship management skills, and the ability to analyse, interrogate and evaluate data. We ll expect you to be familiar with accounting systems, financial planning, forecasting and reporting, and have a practical knowledge of specialist systems and databases such as ERP, Oracle. You ll also possess experience of working in public sector finance and have a well-developed understanding of Oracle Fusion/Cloud.
