I’m recruiting for a Hygiene Service Manager to join a well-established food manufacturing business at a key UK site.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in food manufacturing hygiene who enjoys managing external service providers , driving standards through influence, and playing a central role in audit readiness and food safety compliance .
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing and overseeing site hygiene services , with a strong focus on third-party contractors including hygiene service providers, pest control, laundry, waste management, and hygiene consumables.
You will:
Act as the main point of contact for external hygiene providers
Monitor service delivery against KPIs and site standards
Support hygiene governance, audits, and documentation
Oversee environmental monitoring and ATP swabbing programmes
Manage hygiene chemicals, consumables, and associated budgets
