Hygiene Manager – Night Shift £33,000 – £35,000 per annum | Jarrow, South Tyneside | 10pm–6am | Permanent A leading food manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Night Shift Hygiene Manager to oversee all hygiene and sanitation activities within their fast-paced production environment. This is a key position responsible for ensuring the site operates to the highest food safety, microbiological, and hygiene standards while leading a dedicated night shift hygiene team. The Role Working 10pm–6am on a permanent night shift, the Hygiene Manager will take ownership of nightly cleaning operations across all production areas. They will design and implement cleaning rotas, manage deep cleans, ensure compliance to BRCGS and retailer standards, and maintain a safe, hygienic environment ready for production start-up each day. This role also carries responsibility for environmental monitoring, swabbing, microbiological verification, and the effective control of hygiene chemicals, PPE, and stock.
