Essentialjobfunctionsinclude(butarenotlimitedto):

Reviewingandincorporatinghistoricaldatafrompurchaseorders,subcontracts,productivityanalysisreports,etc.,intounitandhanhourfigures. Reviewofproposalspecifications,drawings,attendpre-bidmeetings,etc.,todeterminescopeofworkandrequiredcontentsofestimate Prepareestimatesbycalculatingcompletetakeoffofscopeofwork Coordinatetotalestimatingeffortrelevanttoparticularbid/project,asassigned. Followawardedcontractsasassigned.Mayincludeestimating/pricingextraworkitems,changeorders,credits,procuringmaterials,etc.

Qualificationsinclude:

4-yearengineeringdegreeorequivalentcombinationsoftechnicaltrainingand/orexperience. Working knowledge of CAD Revit experience but not required. Shouldpossessat least 2 yearsestimating,costcontroland/orengineeringexperiencerelatedtosimilarfacilityconstruction. Knowledgeofestimatingtechniquesandcostcontrol,plusabilitytointerpretcomputerizedcostdataandsystemsessential. Thoroughknowledgeofplumbingandheating/ventilation/airconditioningamust.MastLicenseaplus. Familiaritywithbasiccomputer/PCprograms.Estimatingsoftwareknowledgedesirable. Willingnesstoreceivecontinuedtrainingintechnologicallyadvancedestimatingdisciplinesinrequired.
