Job Title: HVAC Project Manager\n\nLocation: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire\n\nSalary: £50,000 - £55,000\n\nBenefits: Company vehicle, 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, employee profit share scheme\n\nA leading M&E Contractor based in Peterborough is looking to strengthen their team with an experienced and driven HVAC Project Manager.\n\nThey provide M&E services to a wide range of clients and businesses across a diverse range of sectors including commercial, retail and industrial. These projects are typically valued between £10,000 to £1M.\n\nAs the Mechanical Project Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:\n\n * Assist with tender and quote preparation.\n\n * Interpret and implement contract designs and construction drawings.\n\n * Day-to-day management of multiple HVAC projects ensuring they run smoothly, safely and profitably.\n\n * Leading the project team and coordinating with specialist subcontractors, consultants, senior management and clients.\n\n * Manage materials, labour, installation, procurement and drawing programmes to accord with installation and specification requirements.\n\n * Oversee working practices, ensuring compliance with HSE policies and CDM Regulations with support from H&S Manager.\n\n * Prepare project reports, programmes and progress updates.\n\n * Track and report on job profitability.\n\n * Manage valuations and final accounts.\n\nSuccessful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:\n\n * Technical knowledge and proven experience of commercial and industrial installations within the HVAC and Fire Damper sector.\n\n * Effective planning and project management skills.\n\n * Understanding of Health & Safety legislation and compliance.\n\n * Consistently good financial returns on projects.\n\n * Good people management and motivational skills.\n\n * The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.\n\n * The ability to plan, co-ordinate and prioritise workloads.\n\n * Strong results .\n\n * Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Heating and Ventilating.\n\n * Relevant qualifications in F-Gas, Installation and Maintenance of Refrigeration, Mechanical and Ductwork Systems.\n\n * Knowledge of British Standards (BS EN) and CIBSE Guides.\n\n * Commercial and contractual awareness (e.g. JCT / NEC contracts).\n\nPlease contact Adam Brown on (phone number removed) / (phone number removed) for more information about this role or if you are interested in a new opportunity within the Building Services sector.
