Suitable for: Junior HVAC Engineer, Applications Engineer, Estimator, Graduate Engineer, Inside Sales, Internal Sales, Sales Engineer, Graduate Sales\n\nAn HVAC manufacturer based in the Birmingham area is looking to appoint an Internal Sales Engineer to support continued growth. This role offers a clear pathway into an external sales position, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop both technically and commercially within a growing business.\n\nSitting at the intersection of engineering and sales, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive AHU selections and quotations across both new build and refurbishment projects. Working closely with external sales, operations, and suppliers, you will play a key role in developing solutions, supporting bids, and contributing to project success from initial enquiry through to order.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProduce detailed AHU selections and quotations\nInterpret technical specifications, drawings, and tender documents\nSupport the external sales team with technical and commercial input\nLiaise with suppliers and internal teams to develop competitive solutions\nAssist in delivering projects from enquiry through to order stage\nRequirements\n\nEssential\n\nStrong understanding of ventilation systems and AHUs\nProficiency in CAD for AHU layout/design \nAbility to interpret technical documentation and tender packages\nGood commercial awareness alongside technical capability\nStrong communication and organisational skills\nPackage\n\nBase salary circa £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)\nPerformance-related bonus\nHybrid working options\nClear progression into external sales\nSupportive, collaborative working environmentWR HVAC | M&E are #1 recruitment partner for HVAC jobs.
