About the Role:\n\nWe are seeking a skilled and qualified HVAC Estimator to join our client’s team in Dartford. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning projects. This role analyses project plans, specifications, and technical requirements to determine labour, material, and equipment needs.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents to prepare detailed HVAC estimates.\n\n * \n\n Calculate material quantities, labour hours, equipment costs, and subcontractor pricing.\n\n * \n\n Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.\n\n * \n\n Prepare and submit bid proposals within deadlines.\n\n * \n\n Identify value-engineering opportunities to improve cost effectiveness.\n\n * \n\n Collaborate with project management and engineering teams during pre-construction.\n\n * \n\n Maintain cost databases, pricing sheets, and historical project records.\n\n * \n\n Assist in project handoff meetings and provide clarifications as needed.\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Experience in HVAC estimating or related mechanical estimating.\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, codes, and industry standards.\n\n * \n\n Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.\n\n * \n\n NVQ or equivalent\n\n * \n\n Valid CSCS\n\n * \n\n Full UK Driving Licence
