HVAC Engineer Location: London & Home counties (field-based) Salary: £48,000 - £55,000 (DOE) + Overtime & Call-Out (OTE £60k+) Benefits: Company van, fuel card, paid travel time, overtime, call-out allowance, pension, 25 days holiday + bank holidays Contract: Permanent, Full-TimeA well-established building services and facilities management contractor is looking to recruit an experienced HVAC Engineer to join their growing London team, supporting a portfolio of commercial and industrial sites.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to join a stable business offering consistent work, strong earning potential, ongoing training, and genuine progression routes.The RoleCarrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across a range of HVAC systemsFault-finding on electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration componentsServicing and maintaining:Split & multi-split systemsVRV / VRF systemsAHUs, FCUs, and ventilation equipmentHeat pumps and chillers (where applicable)Leak detection, pressure testing, evacuation, and recharging systemsCompleting service reports and F-Gas compliance documentationLiaising with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth deliveryWorking in line with F-Gas and Health & Safety regulationsTaking part in an on-call rota (typically 1 in 6 / 1 in 8)What We're Looking ForEssential:3+ years' experience as an HVAC / AC Service EngineerF-Gas Category 1Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skillsGood understanding of HVAC electrical and mechanical systemsFull UK driving licenceComfortable working independently across multiple sitesDesirable:NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Refrigeration & Air ConditioningExperience with chillers, heat pumps, or ventilation systems18th Edition (BS7671)IPAF / PASMAWhat's on OfferCompetitive basic salary up to £55,000Realistic OTE £60k+ with overtime and call-outPaid travel timeOngoing manufacturer training and developmentLong-term job security within a growing businessInterested?If you're an experienced HVAC Engineer looking for a well-paid London role with strong earning potential and stability, apply today.Alecto Recruitment Limited is acting as an employment business for this vacancy.
