COMPANY OVERVIEW\nKSD Support Services Ltd is part of the KSD Group, a leading building maintenance and facilities management provider operating across the UK. The company delivers comprehensive FM services to a portfolio of prestigious clients, including major retail, hospitality, and commercial organisations such as Tesco and Stonegate Group.\nJOB PURPOSE\nTo provide comprehensive HVAC engineering services including installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across multiple client sites. The role ensures optimal system performance, client satisfaction, and adherence to health and safety regulations whilst maintaining the highest professional standards.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nTechnical Duties:\n * Install and commission HVAC components including pipework, ductwork, and control panels to specification\n * Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes on commercial HVAC systems\n * Carry out reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and emergency repairs efficiently\n * Conduct quality checks and performance testing to ensure system efficiency and compliance\n * Identify and recommend system improvements or upgrades where appropriate\nAdministrative & Client Management:\n * Maintain accurate and comprehensive records including worksheets, materials tracking, and site documentation\n * Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and site personnel\n * Provide technical guidance and advice to clients regarding HVAC systems\n * Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company quality standards and client expectations\nHealth, Safety & Compliance:\n * Adhere to all health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards at all times\n * Complete risk assessments and method statements where required\n * Maintain F-Gas regulations compliance and maintain accurate records\n * Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 4 weeks) to provide emergency call-out support\nPERSON SPECIFICATION\nEssential Requirements:\nQualifications:\n * F-Gas Certification (Category I minimum)\n * NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (Level 3 )\n * CSCS Card or equivalent construction site safety certification\n * Full clean UK driving licence\nExperience & Skills:\n * Proven experience in HVAC maintenance and repair\n * Demonstrable fault-finding and diagnostic expertise\n * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision\n * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal\n * Excellent timekeeping and organisational abilities\n * IT proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, Word)\n * Professional attitude with strong customer service skills\n * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team\nDesirable Requirements:\nPrevious experience in facilities management or building services environments\nFirst Aid at Work certification\nAsbestos Awareness certificate\nIPAF certification - Mobile Vertical (3a) and Mobile Boom (3b)\nPASMA - Mobile Access Tower for Users\nUKPIA / SPA Petrol Retail Contractors Safety Passport\nTERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT\nWorking Hours:\n45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 18:00.
