Job Description

This is a mobile HVAC Contract Manager role, covering the Northwest & Yorkshire.\n\n You'll be responsible for managing multiple air conditioning maintenance contracts, making sure they run smoothly, safely, and profitably.\n What the job involves\n \nManaging a portfolio of ~12 HVAC/AC maintenance contracts (e.g., universities, hospitals, commercial sites) \nLeading a team of 12 engineers (including site-based and mobile) \nActing as the main client contact and maintaining strong relationships \nOverseeing service delivery, compliance, and performance (KPIs/SLA's) \nTaking full responsibility for the financial performance (P&L, profitability, costs) \nEnsuring all work is completed on time, safely, and to standard What they're looking for\n \nStrong HVAC / AC technical background (ideally NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) \nExperience in FM contract management (not projects—this is maintenance-focused) \nGood understanding of commercials and P&L \nSomeone robust and confident, able to manage demanding clients and teams \nPrevious experience managing engineers in a mobile environment Key details\n \nLocation: Mobile role across Northwest & Yorkshire (ideal for M62 corridor) \nReporting to: Regional Manager \nTeam size: 12 engineers \nContracts: Mix of long-term (PFI) and rolling contracts Package\n \nSalary: £52k-£54k \n£5,200 car allowance or company EV car \n5% bonus \nGood progression opportunities internally Why it's a good role\n \nLarge, well-known contracts \nAutonomy managing your own portfolio \nStrong career progression within Equans \nStable, long-term contracts To apply for the position of HVAC Contract Manager, click ‘Apply Now’ and send your CV to Connor Gwilliam.
