We’re supporting a large, complex organisation operating in a highly regulated, safety‑critical environment to appoint an experienced HR Projects Manager. This role sits at the heart of the People function and will lead a portfolio of critical people‑related projects.
More about the Role:
As HR Projects Manager, you will own, plan and deliver a wide range of people initiatives across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll work closely with senior HR leaders and business stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and aligned to broader organisational priorities. This role is a great fit for someone with a strong blend of HR functional knowledge, project management capability and stakeholder leadership, operating across a changing and evolving organisational landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver a portfolio of HR and people‑related projects aligned to the People Strategy and organisational objectives.
- Design and implement clear project plans, milestones, governance and success measures.
- Partner with senior HR leaders to develop people strategies, objectives and action plans.
- Deliver initiatives across areas including (but not limited to) HR systems, processes, reward, engagement, wellbeing, development and inclusion.
- Establish and manage cross‑functional project teams, including internal and external resources.
- Monitor progress, manage risks and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure projects are effectively resourced, with appropriate control of budgets and timelines.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts across the business.
- Evaluate project outcomes and ensure learning and continuous improvement.
- Deputise for senior HR leadership on cross‑cutting people topics as required.
More about you:
- Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures and the wider people agenda.
- Proven track record delivering multiple high‑profile HR projects end‑to‑end.
- Demonstrated project management capability, including planning, prioritisation and stakeholder management.
- Experience leading matrix or cross‑functional teams.
- Comfortable working in complex, ambiguous and fast‑paced organisations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong relationship‑building skills, including engagement with senior and sensitive stakeholders.
