Part-Time HR Manager - Birmingham (30 hours per week)


We’re working with a fast-growing UK-based business that specialises in the design, sourcing, and distribution of home hardware products. With a strong footprint in ecommerce and direct-to-consumer retail, they’re known for combining traditional product excellence with modern operational agility.


As part of their continued growth, they're hiring a Part-Time HR Manager to help shape the people strategy and foster a positive, performance-led culture. This role is ideal for someone looking to work flexibly while still playing a pivotal role in a high-performing SME.


What you'll be doing:

  • Owning day-to-day HR operations and acting as the first point of contact for people-related matters.
  • Supporting managers across recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance.
  • Developing and refining internal policies, ensuring compliance with employment law.
  • Advising leadership on HR best practices, organisational change, and culture-building initiatives.


What they’re looking for:

  • Strong generalist HR experience - ideally within a small-to-mid-sized commercial environment.
  • Someone confident working autonomously in a standalone HR role.
  • A proactive mindset with excellent communication and people skills.
  • CIPD Level 5+ would be ideal but not essential.


The details:

  • £40,000 FTE (pro-rata to approx. £30,000 for 30 hours)
  • Hybrid role - based at their Birmingham HQ 1–2 days per week
  • Flexible working hours to fit around your schedule
