The Role and Candidate
We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in human resources. This role is perfect for someone eager to start a career in HR, with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn. You’ll assist in recruitment, employee engagement, and day-to-day HR operations while working closely with our HR team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in posting job ads, screening CVs, and scheduling interviews
- Help maintain employee records and HR databases
- Support the onboarding process for new hires
- Assist in organising employee engagement activities and events
- Help with HR documentation, reports, and filing
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team
Required Qualifications
- Keen interest in starting a career in Human Resources
- 1 year of work experience (HR-related experience preferred but not essential)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- The Right to Work in the UK and allowed to work a minimum of 24 hours a week.
Desirable but Not Essential
- Experience in the toy industry or pop culture retail sector
- Familiarity with UK and European retail landscapes
- Understanding of designer toy and collectible trends, particularly in the art toy market
