The Role and Candidate

We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in human resources. This role is perfect for someone eager to start a career in HR, with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn. You’ll assist in recruitment, employee engagement, and day-to-day HR operations while working closely with our HR team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in posting job ads, screening CVs, and scheduling interviews
• Help maintain employee records and HR databases
• Support the onboarding process for new hires
• Assist in organising employee engagement activities and events
• Help with HR documentation, reports, and filing
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team

Required Qualifications

• Keen interest in starting a career in Human Resources
• 1 year of work experience (HR-related experience preferred but not essential)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• The Right to Work in the UK and allowed to work a minimum of 24 hours a week.

Desirable but Not Essential

• Experience in the toy industry or pop culture retail sector
• Familiarity with UK and European retail landscapes
• Understanding of designer toy and collectible trends, particularly in the art toy market
