People & Culture (P&C) Business Partner

6-Month Fixed Term Contract

Location: London – Canary Wharf (Hybrid)


We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join our team on a 6-month fixed term contract. This role will support the delivery of people strategies and plans across the full commercial lifecycle (win, operate, grow, retain), partnering closely with business leaders to embed effective People & Culture solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Execute People & Culture strategies and people plans within assigned business areas
  • Design, develop and implement P&C solutions to address business needs and identified risks
  • Deliver people solutions across the commercial lifecycle
  • Partner with P&C Strategic Partners and Centres of Excellence to embed sustainable change
  • Lead organisational design and restructure activity
  • Manage people projects and change initiatives
  • Provide expert guidance on policies, procedures and UK employment law
  • Manage complex employee relations cases, including escalations, TUPE and union engagement
  • Coach and advise leaders and managers to promote positive employee relations
  • Attend operational and P&C meetings as required
  • Support and develop members of the People & Culture team


Role Split

  • 50% People Solutions
  • 50% People Advisory


Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Strong HR generalist background, ideally within a B2B or multi-site environment
  • Degree educated and/or CIPD qualified
  • In-depth knowledge of UK employment legislation
  • Experience with TUPE, union engagement and complex ER casework
  • Proven experience in organisational design, restructures and change management
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication, coaching and problem-solving capability
