We're hiring: Human Resources Business Partner - 14-month maternity cover

Location: Fortress HQ, Wolverhampton

Hybrid working: 3 days per week in the office

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 per annum

Reporting to: Talent & Culture Director

The role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to cover maternity leave and step into a truly collaborative, global role. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and managers to design and deliver people strategies that support our business goals and future growth.

You’ll play a key role across the full employee lifecycle, leading strategic HR initiatives and helping embed them across our global business. If you enjoy partnering, influencing and making things happen — this role offers real impact.


What you’ll be doing

You’ll be a trusted partner and collaborator, focusing on:

  • Strengthening organisational culture and engagement globally, including the annual engagement survey and turning insights into action
  • Playing a key role in the annual merit planning process, using data and insight to inform pay decisions
  • Partnering with stakeholders across the UK, US and APAC as a trusted advisor on organisational design, workforce planning and change initiatives
  • Continually assessing organisational structures to ensure they can scale with business growth
  • Leading talent planning activities including succession planning and leadership development
  • Providing commercially focused, pragmatic advice on employee relations matters
