About your role

As an HR Business Partner at Swap, you will act as a strategic partner to business leaders and teams across the organisation. You will ensure that our people strategy aligns with our business goals, foster a high-impact and inclusive culture, and provide expert HR support across the employee lifecycle. This role requires experience supporting a growing, international workforce across the UK and the Netherlands.


Strategic Partnership

  • Partner with senior leadership to understand business goals and translate them into impactful people initiatives
  • Coach and support managers on performance, development, organisational change, and employee relations


Talent & Capability

  • Support end-to-end hiring across your business areas, from role design through to onboarding


Performance & Organisation

  • Drive performance management processes and support organisational design and workforce planning


Culture, Engagement & ER

  • Lead on engagement and retention initiatives aligned to company values
  • Manage employee relations matters and act as a trusted escalation point


Data & Change

  • Use HR data and insights to inform decisions and improve outcomes
  • Support organisational change as we scale across teams and geographies


What we are looking for

  • 4 - 7 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge senior leaders
  • Experience working across the full employee lifecycle in a high-growth SaaS or tech environment
  • Solid knowledge of UK employment law, with exposure to Dutch employment practices
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, scaling environments, bringing structure and clarity where needed
  • Hands-on and adaptable, able to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution
  • Experience in performance management, organisational design, and change initiatives
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to turn insights into action
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, relationship-led approach
  • Exposure to international teams (EMEA, US, APAC) is a plus
  • CIPD Level 5/7 (or equivalent) preferred
