About the Role:

A leading global professional services firm is seeking a proactive and experienced HR Advisor to join their team based in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven HR professional to provide comprehensive operational support across various business groups, partnering closely with managers and supporting firm-wide people initiatives.

You'll work directly with the HR Manager to deliver a high-quality HR service and contribute to wider projects across the employee lifecycle. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment and is looking to develop their HR career further.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for operational HR support across assigned business groups and EME offices
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand and address people-related needs
  • Manage new joiner onboarding, inductions, and exit processes
  • Handle employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance issues
  • Support and manage flexible working requests, family leave, and secondments
  • Contribute to policy development and ensure compliance with HR best practice and GDPR
  • Work on HR projects and initiatives to support strategic objectives
  • Support the annual performance and salary review process
  • Coach managers on people management and escalate training needs where necessary
  • Collaborate with HR administration and ensure accurate documentation and reporting

About You:

  • Proven experience in an HR Advisor role, ideally within professional services
  • Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the confidence to advise and challenge stakeholders
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Familiar with HR systems (e.g., PeopleSoft) and proficient in Microsoft Office
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable
  • Understanding of GDPR in an HR context
