HSEQ Regional Business Partner (Scotland & NI)Contract: HSEQLocation: Livingston, EH54 8AF (travel around Scotland)Hours of work: 40Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 months)We are seeking an HSEQ Regional Business Partner to support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of health, safety, environmental, and quality management systems across Scotland and Northern Ireland.Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, this role plays an integral part in ensuring the OneISS Way is embedded consistently across all operations within the region.Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced HSEQ professional who can help drive a strong culture of safety and compliance, ensuring procedures, safe systems of work, and risk management practices are fully implemented and understood.Through expert advice, audits, risk assessments, and stakeholder engagement, this role supports operational excellence and strengthens ISS’s reputation for safe, high-quality, dependable service delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesWork across the region supporting multiple accounts and stakeholders to improve HSEQ performance.Provide practical and proactive HSEQ support, enabling operational teams to work safely, efficiently, and in line with required standards.Collaborate with client counterparts to ensure HSEQ processes meet expectations and uphold ISS’s internal standards.Understand contract risk profiles and proactively manage potential hazards.Champion ISS HSEQ campaigns, including Safe Spaces and Wellbeing initiatives.Support the deployment of HSEQ plans, identifying key risk areas and ensuring operational compliance.Build, maintain, and enhance safety systems to strengthen operational resilience and reduce incidents.Work with clients and third parties - including HSE, Environment Agency, and local authorities - to ensure compliance and positive relationships.Collaborate with the wider HSEQ team to support mobilisation, operational readiness, and the sharing of best practice.Professional and Personal Competencies/QualificationsMulti‑site and multi‑disciplinary experience.NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.IOSH membership (desirable).Strong incident investigation and auditing experience.Previous HSEQ experience with solid understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality management systems.Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.Background in Facilities Management (desirable).Proven ability to identify, assess, and manage operational risks.Strong communication and stakeholder-influencing skills.Full UK driving licence for regional travel.The CompanyISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
