Were looking for a HSEQ Manager to join our GXO Direct operation in Corby, supporting a multi-user site and taking the lead on all Health, Safety, Environment and Quality activities. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in operational environments, enjoys working with people, and can support continuous improvement across the site.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working any 5 days out of 7 (37.5 hours per week).

Pay, benefits and more:

Were looking to offer a salary of £40,000 £44,000, per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), a company pension scheme, and access to an employee discount platform covering retail, tech, travel and more. What youll do on a typical day:

  • Work with local management to drive improvements in Health & Safety, Environment and Quality, ensuring compliance with standards including ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001
  • Promote a strong HSEQ culture through coaching, engagement, toolbox talks and best-practice sharing across all levels of the site
  • Conduct and support incident investigations, identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions and sharing lessons learned
  • Develop, maintain and monitor safety management systems and action plans, using available data and reporting tools to track performance
  • Provide expert HSEQ guidance, deliver training, support audits and ensure the site remains compliant with legislation, customer requirements and corporate policies

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or NVQ Level 3 (working towards higher qualifications desirable)
  • Experience managing HSEQ within a logistics, warehouse or industrial environment
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage at all levels
  • Passion for improving safety and driving positive cultural change
  • Ability to manage a varied workload, balance strategic and hands-on tasks, and identify continuous improvement opportunities
