HSEQ ManagerLocation: Market Harborough (HQ) with nationwide travel to live construction sitesReporting to: HSEQ DirectorThe RoleAn established and growing construction contractor is seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager to lead and manage Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems across multiple live projects nationwide.This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring legislative compliance, maintaining ISO management systems, promoting a strong safety culture, and driving continuous improvement across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesHealth & SafetyDevelop, implement and maintain ISO-aligned HSEQ management systemsEnsure compliance with HASAWA, CDM Regulations 2015 and the Building Safety ActConduct site inspections, audits and risk assessmentsLead incident investigations and implement corrective actionsReview and support RAMSDeliver inductions, toolbox talks and HSEQ trainingPromote a proactive safety culture across projects and supply chainEnvironmentalSupport implementation of Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs)Manage environmental risks including waste, dust, noise and pollutionEnsure compliance with environmental legislation and client requirementsPromote sustainable construction practices on siteQualityMaintain and improve the Quality Management SystemOversee project quality plans, ITPs and inspection processesConduct internal audits and manage non-conformancesSupport project handover and quality close-out documentationLeadership & PerformanceProvide HSEQ advice and support to management and site teamsMonitor KPIs, incidents and performance trendsSupport external audits and certificationsAct as the primary point of contact for regulators, auditors and clientsEssential RequirementsMinimum 5 years HSEQ experience within the construction industryStrong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation including CDM 2015Experience implementing and maintaining HSEQ management systemsStrong leadership, communication and reporting skillsAbility to manage multiple sites and competing prioritiesFull clean UK driving licenceRight to work in the UKStrong understanding of risk management and incident investigationDesirableDiploma in Health & Safety, Environmental Management or related disciplineISO 45001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualificationExperience within Tier 2 commercial or industrial construction projectsPersonal AttributesProactive and solutions-focusedStrong attention to detailConfident and approachable leadership styleAble to influence positive behavioural changeCommitted to continuous improvement and safety excellenceJBRP1_UKTJ
