Bring your energy to Aggreko as a HSE Specialist based in our Lomondgate Production Facility. As a HSE Specialist you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and continually improving the organisation’s Health, Safety, and Environmental management systems.

What you’ll do as a HSE Specialist:

  • Ensure compliance with UK HSE legislation and internal frameworks, maintaining Legal Compliance Registers and adherence to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and global HSE standards
  • Lead and support incident investigations, including root cause analysis, corrective actions and trend analysis to reduce risk and prevent recurrence
  • Help our teams create, share, and train on risk assessments. Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety observations, supporting ongoing improvements
  • Promote a proactive safety culture by working closely with our people, coaching delivering HSE training and inductions, tracking KPIs, advising and coaching stakeholders, and leading HSE committees and improvement initiatives.


You are:

  • Degree or diploma qualification in a relevant Occupational Health and Safety Management discipline, ideally supported by a recognised Health and Safety learnings, with professional IOSH membership desirable.
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in an HSE Advisor/Specialist/Officer role, with proven leadership skills and the ability to influence and coach the workforce.
  • Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and ISO standards, with excellent analytical, problem‑solving, reporting, communication,training and coaching skills
  • Highly organised and self‑motivated, with strong time‑management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE management systems, experience in manufacturing or similar environment preferred.
