Are you a seasoned Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) professional eager to make a strategic impact within the fast-paced FMCG/ Food manufacturing sector? In this pivotal leadership position, you’ll provide expert direction and support across health, safety and environmental functions. Key responsibilities include planning, auditing and reviewing HSE activities to meet legal and customer standards, establishing and maintaining rigorous safety and environmental management systems aligned with ISO14001:2015, and ensuring site security and compliance with regulatory permits. You will work closely with management teams, emergency services, and external agencies to embed best practices and continuous improvement into daily operations.
You’ll also oversee HSE budgeting, training needs analysis, and performance reporting-driving business priorities with actionable insights. This role demands proactive, solutions-driven leadership, capable of navigating complex environments and representing the organisation with authority at senior levels.
We’re looking for an experienced HSE leader with:
- Proven experience in health, safety, and environmental management within FMCG or food manufacturing environments.
- NEBOSH Diploma qualification.
- Strong technical expertise in HSE standards, audits, risk assessments, and management systems implementation.
- Deep knowledge of legal requirements, ISO14001:2015 compliance, and industry best practices.
- Track record of delivering effective HSE training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Team player who embraces company values and demonstrates passion for shaping a positive HSE culture
